Terms of use

The service

SARA lets a participating organization grant you access to its doors through the SARA app on your phone. The organization, not SARA, decides whether to approve your application and which doors you may open, and it may change or withdraw that access at any time.

Your application

You must apply with your own name, your own mobile number and a photo of yourself. Applying on behalf of someone else, or letting another person use your phone or your access, is not permitted.

Text messages

After you enter your number we send one text with a link to complete your application, and one text with the result. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Details are on the text messages page.

Your responsibilities

Keep your phone locked. If it is lost or stolen, tell the organization so your access can be revoked. Do not attempt to interfere with the door equipment, the beacons or the SARA service.

Ending access

The organization or SARA may revoke your access at any time. Deleting the app ends your access. You can ask the organization to delete your application record; see the privacy policy for what is kept and for how long.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. A door may fail to open for reasons outside SARA's control, such as a power or network failure. SARA is not liable for any loss arising from access being unavailable.

Governing law
